Innovation Center Iceland is a state-owned non-profit research institute with the aim to serve the Icelandic Industry in further development. Acting in close co-operation with Icelandic companies, the institute focuses on R&D, technology transfer, education, consulting, and testing in order to increase innovation, productivity, and competitiveness of Iceland’s economy. Innovation Center’s Department of Material and Environmental Technology has over many years gathered experience in the field of light metals and aluminum in particular.
